For some reason possibilities of shopping was not the first thing that came to mind at the time this page was created. However, after hearing an international asking if the yellow pet shop (Netto) was any good we had to include it.

From the college there are several good places to go shopping for your groceries. The places listed here are in order of distance. The nearest first.

Aktiv Super: A small local shop that have many things but a little more expensive than Fakta.

Fakta: A cheap shop that have most of your everyday needs.

Spar: A more exclusive shop that have all you can't find in Fakta.

Netto: Netto is one of the best shops nearby. They are cheap and have a huge fruit and vegetable section.

Aldi: Aldi is the cheapest place to buy your things, but the quality is the same. Around Aldi is a Fakta, Rema1000 and a Super Brugsen. All of them worth visiting.

Føtex: If you really need to buy special things Føtex is the place to find it. Førtex is expensive but huge.

Salling: The most expensive super market in Aalborg. This is worth seeing just because it's so expensive. This is the place you go if really need something special.

Bilka: The largest super market in Aalborg. Sometimes they have really good offers (Danish: udsalg).
